The fashion industry is vast and diverse. It is organised in a systematic manner that has everyone fitting in somewhere. In this course you will get to see how it all works together and how we in East Africa fit into the global picture of fashion.
Linda has over ten years of experience in the industry teaching Fashion business at Mcensal School of Fashion, a leading College in East Africa. While there, she rose to become the Quality nominee for the syllabus where she was responsible to ensure that the standards were maintained according to the international requirements of the syllabus. The immense knowledge and experience gained while teaching led her to establish a successful ready-made fashion brand called Kamami Bliss. The brand has grown and has stocked in seven retail outlets, both brick and motor and online. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Couture Africa Magazine, Salon Magazine, Eve woman and People daily. Linda has also been invited to speak about fashion on K24’s Business Daily, KTN’s Morning show and Inooro Tv’s Ikumbi ria Withi. Intent on sharing her knowledge, Linda has written fashion articles for Yakuti Magazine, Jua Magazine and Ashleys Beauty Magazine. She has also been an Introduction Leader for 4 years with Landmark Worldwide, a personal and professional growth and development company that trains people to live their best life.
Linda is an amazing and interactive lecturer, i love how practical the course is to the kenyan design and market at large.
